Newborn at Christmas

Christmas being what it is, families everywhere are preparing for the holidays all over the world. It can be a time of abundance and indulgence and also a time of great loneliness and quiet.

Me, I’ve been in both camps at different times in this lifetime.

This year, I’m a new mum to a second child and blessed with the thrill of taking care of this newborn life. This year I am surrounded by gifts and family and the smell of pine in the living room from the gorgeous Christmas tree.

And this year, I am so incredibly grateful for all the years past that were different, that have led me on a winding path to this place.

I’m just saying, you never know what’s around the corner. You never know what’s coming, so LIVE and be present as much as you can to all the light and shade that life brings.

Wishing you all the most wonderful that Christmas can give for you this year, the light and the shade, the together and the alone, the awakenings and the denials. Let it all be what it is.

Accept, release, breathe, pray, love.

Joy, peace and blessings to you.
