Hello People of Earth,
Today marks a new day. Today I am writing a short, sharp journal entry to help us all stay true to our deeper values and keep those small ethical choices in the front of our mind.
I was watching Maria Forleo’s excellent interview of Seth Godin (who blogs every day, and has written 7,500 posts) and realised I have so many ideas that I think about sharing… but then don’t share because I think I have to do a big, long and perfect article before it’s worth publishing here on the blog.
Well… baloney to that!
Let’s just share our ideas without worrying about perfection, shall we?
Today’s brilliant idea: I know that often we make a choice that is not the kindest to the planet because it is less convenient. So it figures then that one way to get us all on the regeneration-train is to make those earth-friendly choices more convenient.
SO here’s my hot tip. I write my very simple and natural fabric softener recipe in sharpie on the glass bottle itself. And there it sits by the washing machine so every time the fabric softener runs out, I just top it up again to the levels marked on the bottle. EASY! Zero waste. Zero artificial chemicals.
I was even thinking (uh oh, look-out) that I could make some labels up and you could just stick them straight on your own jars and bottles so you too could have those recipes there on the bottle when and where you need them.
